The Divine Goddess of Compassionate and Vengeance

The name Lhamo is derived from Palden Lhamo, one of Tibet’s principal oracles and a revered protector deity in Tibetan Buddhism. Palden Lhamo is deeply significant in Tibetan culture, symbolizing strength, wisdom, and the safeguarding of spiritual traditions. By adopting this name, Lhamo Gonpo Corporation reflects its commitment to preserving and promoting the rich heritage and cultural identity of Tibet, while drawing inspiration from the divine guidance and protection embodied by Palden Lhamo.

The Deity is an Emanation of Avalokitevara, The Buddha of Compassion

The name Gonpo is derived from Mahakala (Gonpo Chakdrukpa), a powerful emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. Representing the wrathful and protective aspects of compassion, Mahakala embodies the fierce determination to remove obstacles and ensure the flourishing of spiritual practice. This deity grants protection from both external and internal interferences, while also supporting the development of one’s Dharma practice. By incorporating the name Gonpo, our organization reflects these qualities of strength, protection, and compassionate guidance, aligning with our mission to preserve Tibetan culture and support its growth.

LHAMO GONPO CONCERT COMING SOON

 

LHAMO GONPO will be organizing its first major concert in Toronto inviting tibetan top singers around the world to promote tibetan culture and artist.   It will be the biggest concert in tibetan community so far in Canada.

The dedication to preserving art and promoting culture at lhamogonpo.com is truly inspiring. Their work not only revives artworks but also enriches community culture.
